If you’ve ever gone to shop for fertilizers, you know just how many different kinds there are to choose from. It can be a bit overwhelming just making the simple decision of what to use. Much like soils, fertilizers tend to come in various combinations to suit various needs. It is not uncommon to find different combinations of fertilizers,

  • Granular Fertilizers
  • Slow-Release Fertilizers
  • Fast-Release Fertilizers
  • Synthetic Fertilizers
  • Organic Fertilizers
  • Liquid Fertilizers

To help make things less complicated for you, C&R Landscape Design uses the best fertilizers on the market today based upon each individual clients site conditions. To help combat against noxious weeds, funguses, and insects that might otherwise destroy your lawn throughout the growing season.

Retaining Walls

A retaining wall is a structure designed and constructed to resist the lateral pressure of soil when there is a desired change in ground elevation that exceeds the angle of repose of the soil. The active pressure increases on the retaining wall proportionally from zero at the upper grade level to a maximum value at the lowest depth of the wall.

The most important consideration in proper design and installation of retaining walls is to recognize and counteract the fact that the retained material is attempting to move forward and downslope due to gravity. C&R Landscape Design can offer multiple solutions in solving retaining issues ranging from a variety of manufactured retaining wall stones as well as natural stone walls to help combat against any topography.

A well-conceived lighting scheme is an essential component of your outdoor living areas. In all lighting, there is both an art and a science. From a scientific perspective, there are all types of bulbs and fixtures that can accomplish so many objectives. Bulb science is constantly changing and improving.

But, there is also an art to lighting design and a level of trade expertise to professional lighting installation. From an artistic perspective, the visibility of the fixture is an early decision. In some situations, you want to see the light fixture. In others, you want to have all the focus on the item being illuminated. C&R Landscape Design often excels at creating illumination to your landscape
